In the last blog, we looked at some of the folding types of eBike available. In this blog, we’re going to look at the classic style of eBikes.
EBCO UCL-10 Electric Bike
This eBike uses a classic style of step over frame, which makes it easy to get on and off. The bike is powered by a 36V 8.8 Ah battery that takes 5-6 hours to charge from completely flat. It uses a TransX PST brushless high torque motor, matched to an R.P.M. sensor, precise motor controller and DP06 LED display. The battery averages up to 40 miles in eco mode. The bike is also equipped with a Shimano Tourney seven-speed gear system and Tektro brakes.
Wisper 705se Stealth Black Electric Bike
This alloy-framed bike uses a 250W ultra high torque 50Nm brushless rear wheel drive power system and 11Ah or 13 Ah batteries, giving a range of up to 50 miles and 70 miles respectively. The battery only takes 4 hours to charge from completely flat. The bike uses 26” K Shield white lined wheels, for a classic look. The bike has a seven-speed gear system and uses Tektro Mechanical Disc type brakes.
Batribike Diamond Pro Electric Bike
The Batribike Diamond Pro uses a 36V 10.4Ah Lithium-Ion battery and a 250W rear hub brushless motor, giving a range of up to 60 miles. The bike is fitted with an LCD cycle computer that has ease of operation at the centre of its design. The bike is equipped with 26” wheels connected to a seven-speed Shimano quick shift gear system. It is also fitted with front suspension and V type brakes.
RooDog Chic Electric Bike
The Roodog Chic is designed with style in mind, but it still packs an electric punch thanks to its 250W 36V latest generation brushless rear wheel motor. The frame is constructed from Aluminium alloy 6061 and has front suspension. The bike uses 26” city style wheels and has Tektro front disc brakes and V type rear brakes. Its 10Ah battery has a range of up to 35 miles and can charge from flat in six hours. The bike is also equipped with a seven-speed Shimano Megarange gearbox.
EBCO UCL-80 Electric Bike
The big brother of the EBCO UCL-10 mentioned earlier in this blog, the UCL-80 offers more refinements than its little brother. The lowstep alloy frame is available in three sizes – 42cm for people up to 5’7”, 45 cm for people up to 5’11” and 50cm for people up to 6’3”- and has a Suntour CR-85-E25 suspension fork. The bike is fitted with Shimano Nexus seven-speed gears. The bike uses Bosch power components, including a 36V 250W active Line Centre Motor, an Intuvia display that indicates battery charge and four levels of power support, including the range you have remaining and a 26V 400W rack mounted battery. The bike has a range of up to 75 miles and charges in 2.5-3.5 hours. The bike is fitted with 26” Schwalbe Marathon tyres with reflective strip and puncture protection.
